Text Box: Brother-in-law Bob Maher, former Grand Knight of Saints Peter and Paul Council 11475, was recently awarded The State of Virginia’s Knight of the Year award, for his humanitarian work in Uganda. Bob was instrumental in fund raising money to build a new medical clinic in Kitakyusa, Uganda. Along with the fund raising, Bob, traveled to Uganda on several occasions to meet with the people and oversee the progress. Previous to the State award, Bob, was awarded the Virginia Council Activity Award of the Year in 2013. Bob and my Sister Angela have been totally committed to volunteering their time to helping others around the world. Bob, a retired Post Master, feels like he never stopped working from day one of his retirement. Retirement gave him more of an opportunity to help others and he loves what he’s doing. Congratulations Bob.

Text Box: Happy Anniversary 45 Years Text Box: Brother Joe and my wonderful sister-in-law Gloria, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Joe and Gloria raised two wonderful children, Christine and Karen and have two teen age grandchildren, Kelly and Tara. Kelly is headed off to college in the fall, and Tara is still in high school working on her social life and softball career.
